Best of Luck to Our Paralympic Athletes

by kbarry on September 6, 2012

Just a quick post today but I wanted to let everyone know that the Paralympics are are currently taking place in London.  These are truly amazing athletes overcoming their disabilities to shine in athletic competition.  I was just watching some coverage on TV, watching runners without legs run comparable times to their able bodied counterparts is just incredible.

The schedule of events and results can be found at the official website: http://www.london2012.com/paralympics/sports/

And of course Go USA (and all of the athelets)!!

RunVerse launches in the New York City Area

by kbarry on August 28, 2012

Attention all New York City and surrounding area runners – RunVerse is now listing races from all over the area for your running pleasure.  New York City marks a large expansion into many new cities during the next few weeks.  Races are being added daily in the area so keep checking back for new ones being posted every day.

If you know of a race that should be listed on RunVerse be sure to let the race director know!  Listing a race on RunVerse is 100% free, helps drive registrations and gets the word out there for the cause the race supports.  Also don’t forget to pass the site onto fellow runners to help them find great local races in the NYC area.

Stay tuned for more races being added and new cities being added during the next few weeks!
